Why Cambridgeshire?

Cambridgeshire has exceptional economic potential. But water supply issues are severely delaying development.

As reported by the Environment Agency in 2021, climate change and modern water usage are combining to make Greater Cambridge ‘seriously water stressed’.

The weCB Fund is designed to support non-household water customers – businesses and organisations like yours – to achieve greater water efficiency. This will free up headroom in the water supply to allow Cambridgeshire’s future development, enabling the region to reach its full potential.
